What makes us unique? Why stay with us?

If you're choosing to stay somewhere other than a hotel, you don't want to feel like you just checked in to a hotel, right? We don't want you to feel like that either, so the look and feel of our places is a priority. These aren't properties that we bought just to rent out; we stay there too. As such they are all personally decorated like a home, by us, with the intention of making you feel like you're staying in something unique, serene, and private. We've stayed in Airbnb's and Vrbo's as well, and we aren't fans of the ones that feel sterile and lifeless. We want to walk in and say "wow, this place in fantastic!" so that's our goal for you as well.

    Why Wait Getaways is Tamie & Eric Norris. We offer our personal homes in our favorite vacation spots in the US to you, our guest, so that you can enjoy them as much as we do. We have properties in 3 locations for short-term stays as well as snowbird stays in Myrtle Beach. We personally manage them.

    Why Wait Getaways has a 3-bedroom private home on 2 acres at Lake Bob Sandlin in Texas, a mountain-view, 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo in Colorado Springs, CO, and an ocean-front, 1-bedroom king suite condo in Myrtle Beach, SC.

    Currently, you can book a property with us through Vrbo (see links above or in the Contact Us section). If you book through Vrbo after visiting us here first, please let us know. You can also check availability and rates by emailing us (the White Oak property is booked by email request and private Vrbo link only). Just tell us your name and requested dates and we'll be in touch with you ASAP!

    Yes! You will have access to all of the amenities (gym, pools, etc) that we do as owners, though some are only seasonally available (Colorado Springs pool). Their availability may also be subject to circumstances outside our control such as repairs, etc.
